Jungle Treks
Do you want to see the Sumatran orangutans up close, and want to hike deep into the wild rainforest of Sumatra? Then join one of our jungle treks for an unforgettable jungle experience.
We offer half-day or one-day jungle treks, and multiple-day treks with overnight camping in the jungle up to 5 days.
All tours start in the riverside village of Bukit Lawang, and can be tailored to your personal needs. It could be an easy hike with longer breaks. More demanding treks with longer walking time per day go deep into the jungle.
Please note that a minimum group size of 2 persons applies. For solo travelers we can combine several guests to a shared group, or we can discuss other options.
What is included?

For any jungle trek we provide an English speaking guide, a permit for the national park, all food and drinks during the trek.

For the Overnight treks, cooking facilities and camping gear are included in the trekking package. Also an assistant guide will join to carry the loads. For your personal use we provide a mat and a sleeping bag.

The last part of each trek (returning back to the village) is by means of Rafting (Tubing) on the Bohorok river.
