For those who want to explore more of North Sumatra, we offer package tours to Lake Toba and the highlands of Berastagi.

Lake Toba
Lake Toba is one of the most popular travel destinations in Indonesia. It is the largest volcanic lake in Southeast Asia. It is formed by a gigantic volcanic eruption 70.000 years ago.
It is well known for its cool climate, crystal clear waters and beautiful vistas. You will appreciate the friendly Batak people and culture, who live on Samosir Island, a little island in the middle of the lake.

Berastagi
Berastagi is situated at the base of two active volcanoes, Sibayak and Sinabung. It lies in the highlands, 1400 meters above sea level, it has therefore a cooler climate. The colorful market of Berastagi is always worth a visit.
The volcano Sibayak can be climbed in a short hike. From the top, you have an impressive view of the surroundings and the moon-like landscape with smoking sulfur craters of the volcano.

Lake Toba tour

A 4-day, 3-night tour from Bukit Lawang to Lake Toba.

Itinerary :

Day one
In the morning we start our journey to Lake Toba. The journey takes around 8 hours. At Lake Toba we take the ferry to Samosir Island and arrive at the accommodation.

Day two
In the morning we have breakfast and get ready for a tour around the Samosir Island. We visit the Ambarita village to see the famous stone chairs, and Simanindo to see the Batak museum and Batak traditional dance performance. After that, we visit another village to see how Batak traditional blankets are made. We stay the night at Lake Toba.

Day three
This day is a free program. Optional activities: Mountain biking, Jet skiing, Cycling, and more. We stay one more night in Lake Toba.

Day four
After breakfast we take the ferry across Lake Toba, and then travel back to Bukit Lawang or Medan.

Package tour includes:

Berastagi and Lake Toba tour

A 5-day, 4-night tour from Bukit Lawang to Berastagi and Lake Toba.

Itinerary :

Day one
In the morning we start our journey to Berastagi, which will take us approximately 5 hours. We visit a traditional village and fruit market along the way. In the afternoon we arrive Berastagi and check in at our accommodation. The rest of the afternoon is free.

Day two
After breakfast we climb the volcano Sibayak, which takes 2 hours. From the top, you have an impressive view of the surroundings. We visit the hot springs and local Shwedagon pagoda. In the afternoon is a free program. You can visit Gundaling Hill by horse or horse carriage, or just walk some of the easy trails in the rural area.

Day three
In the morning we have breakfast and start our trip to Lake Toba. On our way we have stop at the impressive 110-meter Sipiso-piso waterfall. At Lake Toba we take the ferry to Samosir Island and arrive at the accommodation.

Day four
In the morning we have breakfast and get ready for a tour around the Samosir Island. We visit the Ambarita village and Simanindo to see the Batak museum and Batak traditional dance performance. After that, we visit another village to see how Batak traditional blankets are made. We have lunch and go back to the accommodation. The afternoon a free program. Optional activities: Mountain biking, Jet skiing, Cycling, and more. We stay one more night in Lake Toba.
